Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior Receive Luxury Cars from Audi

The majority of players favored the SUV Q7 as their preferred model. Young forwards Vinícius Júnior, formerly of Flamengo, and Rodrygo Goés, formerly of Santos, started the week off on the right foot at Real Madrid.

Along with their teammates, they were treated by Audi to the opportunity to choose a vehicle from the German brand. Vinícius Júnior opted for the Audi A7 Sportback, a high-end sedan, while the versatile Marcelo made a similar choice. Rodrygo, on the other hand, went for the Q7 SUV, a selection shared by defender Éder Militão and midfielder Casemiro.

The partnership between Audi and Real Madrid has been in place since 2003, and each season, the German brand hosts an event where players can select a model from their current range. Previously, Audi also provided vehicles to rival team Barcelona, but the Catalan club is now sponsored by Spanish brand Cupra.

The well-known car presentation to players took place on Monday, the 16th. This season, the majority of players favored the Q7 utility vehicle. The Q7 SUV boasts a powerful V6 3.0 diesel engine, delivering around 300 horsepower. It proved to be the top choice for 11 players in the team.

Notably, team captain Sergio Ramos opted for a model that will be making its way to Brazil in 2020, the executive A8. However, it was defender Raphael Varane who captured attention by selecting an environmentally friendly model. He chose the E-Tron, a fully electric vehicle with a range of 436 kilometers.
