DJ Khaled Gets Pulled Over by Police in Miami While Riding Barefoot in His Golf Cart

On Thursday, a motorcycle-riding Miami police officer pulled over DJ Khaled on a golf cart near his home. The 48-year-old music producer and golfer stopped to talk to a policeman.It was unclear if the officer cited him in the exchange.The New Orleans native, Khaled Mohammed Khaled, was photographed using his phone and not wearing a seatbelt during the afternoon commute.In the luxury golf cart, the I’m the One artist wore a white T-shirt, off-white shorts, and no shoes.

The music producer says that playing golf is a major part of his life

Last May, the Grammy-winner told Golf Digest about his love of golf and his childhood golf cart mischief.

His best friend lived near Orlando’s Bay Hill Club, and they ‘would try to leap golf carts over bunkers,’ adding, ‘We was nuts.’

Music industry professional and father to Asahd, seven, and Aalam, four, with partner Nicole Tuck, 48, told the outlet that he put his sons’ names on his 8-iron club because he loves the game.

He told the magazine that playing the sport gives him a spiritual feeling.

‘God gave me life, and he gave me a blessing, and I show my thanks every day,’ DJ Khaled told the site. Golf is my connection to God, thus I adore it. Sort of like my one-on-one time with him.

DJ Khaled revealed in an interview last year that he played golf every day and lived by the motto, ‘Let’s go golfing!’

‘Every day after I get up and pray, I’m screaming it.

DJ Khaled stated he jumps out on his balcony and shouts, “Let’s go golfing!” when the weather is nice. My kids are shouting, “Let’s go golfing!” I shout on Instagram, “Let’s go golfing!” as I exit. My supporters pull the windows down and shout, “Let’s go golfing!” when I get in my car at a traffic light. At concerts, they shout, “Let’s go golfing!”
