Pep Guardiola kissed Phil Foden’s young son as Manchester City moved closer to winning the Premier League.
Foden, 18, started the crucial victory over Leicester on Monday night, and City will be crowned champions if they win at Brighton next weekend.
The Leicester game was City’s final home game of the season, and the players conducted a lap of honour thereafter to thank fans for their support this season.
Foden and other members of the squad brought their children onto the pitch.
The Stockport native, who has been one of the Premier League’s breakout stars this season, became a father to a young boy in January.

Foden and his long-term partner Rebecca Cooke, both 18, were stated to be “overjoyed” with their newborn boy earlier this year.
Following the win over Leicester, Foden was spotted for the first time in public with his kid, who was dressed in a replica City kit.
Guardiola, who is known to be supportive of Foden as he balances becoming a father and pursuing his football career, was happy to meet the boy.
He began by kissing Foden’s son’s forehead, then moved on to Foden himself.

Guardiola has given Foden multiple first-team opportunities this season, and the midfielder has responded with consistent performances, including several goals.
He scored his first Premier League goal in a win over Tottenham earlier this month, his seventh of the season.
Earlier this week, the CIES Football Observatory ranked Foden as the world’s 18th most valuable Under-20 footballer, with a market worth of more than £20 million.
