Manchester United continues to promote promising young players after Shea Lacey was observed working with the first squad.
It has been a difficult season for the first squad, with academy members emerging as a bright spot, giving fans hope for a better future.
FA Youth Cup winners Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo have established themselves as first-team regulars, giving future academy players optimism that they, too, can transition to the senior squad.
Because of their rapid development, both of these players are already looking forward to their first major international competition. It demonstrates how amazing the club’s academy is, and there appears to be an unending number of possibilities who are tremendously skilled right now and just waiting for their opportunity.
Sky Sports released footage of Manchester United in training on Wednesday night, as they prepare for their trip to Bournemouth on Saturday. The video also showed youngster Shea Lacey exercising alongside the first-team players.

The 16-year-old, who is highly regarded at the club, has been absent for the majority of the season due to an injury sustained in late October. He has yet to return to academy football, but perhaps United will invite him into the squad for some light training after six months away?
Lacey will receive a lot of vital experience by training alongside the senior team. Hopefully, before his 17th birthday on Sunday, he will adopt all positive behaviors while ignoring negative qualities. We might see him perform on the tour next summer.
