The bars in question allude to a past romantic relationship between Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran, who is rumored to have been involved with Quavo. The lyrics suggest that Chris Brown’s previous partners are not on par with his current situation, and he expresses his preference for drinking 1942 tequila over associating with Quavo. Additionally, the lyrics imply that Karrueche prefers Casamigos tequila over the music group Migos. 

These references to Quavo and the rumored romance have caught the attention of fans and sparked speculation. It should be noted that Chris Brown and Karrueche had an on-again, off-again relationship during the early 2010s before officially breaking up in 2015.
