Vanilla Ice discusses his purchase of 50 Cent’s Lamborghini, highlighting the rapper’s forgetfulness of an item left in the car.

Vanilla Ice and the seller of the Lamborghini previously owned by 50 Cent share the story of its purchase. The second owner, Fred Fishback, was unaware of the rapper’s identity. Vanilla Ice recalls that the car’s wheels were scratched, likely due to driving in New York City. The dealer informed Fred that the car had a celebrity connection as it belonged to a famous rapper.50 Cent Launches G-Unit Studios in Louisiana

Fred, who only knew Vanilla Ice as a rapper, still desired the car and bought it despite its background. He later researched 50 Cent and even brought his book, “From Pieces to Weight.” 50 Cent had purchased the Lamborghini as a reward after recording his album “Get Rich or Die Trying.” During that time, he painted his cars, including a Rolls-Royce Ghost, in a custom “50 Blue” shade unavailable from the manufacturer.

Fred discovered a forgotten glove, expecting to find a quarter due to the car’s association with 50 Cent. When he took the car to a Lamborghini dealership for inspection, the staff became excited as it was not every day they encountered 50 Cent’s Lamborghini.

Fred added a rear wing for downforce and a Kreissieg exhaust for added drama. The Murcielago is gradually becoming a classic, introduced by Lamborghini in 2001 as the successor to the Diablo. It featured a 6.2-liter V12 engine producing 572 horsepower and could reach a top speed of 207 mph.

Vanilla Ice, an avid car enthusiast, also owns a Ferrari F8 Spider and has a cherished Mustang that he plans to restore again. Now, he can add the Lamborghini Murcielago, formerly owned by 50 Cent, to his collection.
