Jay-Z is just one of the many celebrities who utilize private jets for their travel needs.
Why? Well, they offer luxury and privacy, not to mention speed and flexibility.
Indeed, the rapper owns a Bombardier Challenger 850 private jet, one of the finest in the market, and certainly far from average. Reportedly, the 53-year-old’s wife, Beyonce, spent $40 million to purchase the jet as a Father’s Day gift.
We’re not questioning Hova’s parenting skills, but a $40 million jet is quite the gift.
However, the couple has a considerable fortune.
Regardless, one of the most significant aspects of private flights is the privacy they provide.
That’s why Jay-Z’s plane features a bedroom for the rapper, complete with a king-size bed and extra padding around the edges for comfort and safety.
This is perfect as it allows Jay-Z and Beyonce to rest while traveling the world – a necessity with such busy schedules.
In addition to a physical bedroom, the jet can accommodate up to seven passengers, which is particularly useful considering the Bombardier Challenger 850’s range of 3,390 miles (5,455 kilometers). The 87-foot-long aircraft can accommodate up to 16 passengers, which is more than enough for Jay-Z, his family, and entourage.
The main part of the cabin includes a table for four, spacious passenger seats, and a large sofa.
But unlike a commercial plane, where food is prepared in advance, Jiggaman’s jet has its own kitchen. No pretzels or peanuts here – passengers can have just about anything they desire.
The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary amenities to prepare a delicious meal, such as a sink, refrigerator, cabinets, countertop, and much more. And if nature calls, there are two full bathrooms on board – one in the front and one in the back.
Unlike commercial aircraft restrooms, Jay-Z’s jet bathrooms are spacious and include showers, sinks, mirrors, and toilets.
The private jet also features a large kitchen at the front, as well as a central lounge area that can transform into an entertainment room, lounge, or cabin.
