Kylian Mbappe’s ability to compete in EURO 2024 was called into question when he sustained two injuries at the same time.
According to L’Equipe, Mbappe has two injuries. The first is back pain, which developed prior to joining the French team under coach Didier Deschamps. The second injury was a bruising to the knee. Real Madrid’s rookie was involved in a recent friendly match against Luxembourg.
Currently, neither of these injuries is considered to have an impact on Mbappe’s chance to play in EURO 2024.
“The French squad does not want any dangers associated with Mbappe. “This player will be rested and closely monitored until EURO 2024,” the French daily reported.
The French team’s EURO trip will begin next week with a tough match against Austria, and the team is experiencing personnel instability under coach Ralf Rangnick.
Mbappe is expected to play from the start against Austria. Following that, the 2018 World Cup champion will face the Netherlands and Poland, two additional formidable opponents in the challenging group stage of EURO 2024, which will take place in Germany.
Following the tournament, Mbappe will make his Real Madrid debut at the Bernabeu.
