Kevin Hart was awarded the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor and made a rare public appearance with his wife Eniko and all four of their children. Hart and Dwayne Johnson have established themselves as a successful duo, having co-hosted the MTV Movie Awards and each winning Shorty Awards this year for Best Comedian and Best Actor, respectively. They will also star together in the upcoming action film “Central Intelligence.”
“Central Intelligence” pairs Johnson as a transformed CIA agent with Hart as a former campus hero turned accountant, brought together at their high school reunion on a mission to save the world. In an interview with EW, the duo reminisced about their challenging high school experiences.
Hart shared his memory of trying out for the basketball team, needing to wake up at 4 a.m. due to living far from school, and attempting to fool his mother by setting the clocks forward. Johnson, recalling his own troubles, admitted to being a troublemaker in ninth grade, even getting arrested. Their candid conversation highlighted both humorous and challenging moments from their youth.
