After a season in which he made significant contributions to their unexpected Premier League title campaign, the 24-year-old signed a new four-year contract at the Emirates last summer.

Nelson only received one start in the top division last season, indicating that his playing time has decreased after a year and a half.

The forward has reportedly told Arsenal that he is considering his options after coming to the conclusion that a future away from his childhood team would be best for his career, according to The Athletic.

They say the north London club is expected to search for a few players for about £20 million.

It has been stated that a number of Premier League teams, such as West Ham, Nottingham Forest, and Crystal Palace, are interested in hiring the England Under 21 international this summer.

Nelson had 15 league games in 2023–24, however he was unable to score. In September, he scored his lone goal in the League Cup against Brentford, 1-0.
