In the 2016 Euros, his team defeated France 1-0.In all but one of Portugal’s Euro 2024 matches, Pepe started, shattering the record for the oldest player to compete in the tournament.Following Monday’s victory against Slovenia, captain Ronaldo announced that Euro 2024 will be his last international tournament.
