Mason Greenwood has begun pre-season training early, on a £100-per-hour plastic pitch.
On Friday, the Manchester United striker was photographed being put through his paces by his agent father and former United teammate Shola Shoretire in Manchester.

Despite wearing a Jamaica national shirt throughout the practice, he is still unsure of his next season’s team.
He returned to Old Trafford after a loan spell with LaLiga club Getafe, where he scored ten goals and provided six assists in 36 appearances, winning player of the year.
Getafe president Angel Torres has previously stated that he would like Greenwood to return to Estadio Coliseum this summer.
In May he told Radio Marca: “If it depends on the boy and the parents, he will continue another year.
“Manchester, the news we have from last week, the thing is that if there is a good offer they would like to sell.
“Because he is not going to return there.
“So we are going to have to wait a month and a half or two months, until the end of June.
“But it depends on him and the family. They are very comfortable and very happy with the fans.

“He had not played for 16 months when he arrived and we have recovered him, he has scored 8 goals in the League and 2 in the Cup and he has given a great performance.
“What I think is that he is going to stay. It’s going to be another year or half a year, until January. This year starting from scratch can be a spectacle.”
Despite Getafe’s desire, the Spanish club would probably struggle to afford him.
Stars such as Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford are expected to return to United’s Carrington training facility on Monday for the start of pre-season training.
However, Greenwood, 22, is unlikely to join his teammates.
Several European clubs have expressed an interest in signing the player, with Marseille and Lazio the front-runners.
United want roughly £34 million for the academy graduate.
They decided he’d quit the club to pursue his profession when the CPS dropped allegations of attempted rape, violence, and coercive behaviour last year.
Greenwood was arrested in January 2022 on claims of attempted rape and assault.
Following a thorough club study, United executives decided that Greenwood should pursue his career elsewhere.
