According to Santi Aouna of France’s Foot Mercato, Olympique de Marseille has officially entered the battle for Eddie Nketiah.

The Marseille board strongly values Nketiah and has investigated the possibilities of recruiting him; the first favourable interactions with the representative have occurred. The transaction is now in its nascent stages.
After agreeing to sign Mason Greenwood from Manchester United, Marseille seeks another striker and has chosen Nketiah.
