Global music icons Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg have introduced their Gin & Juice ready-to-drink product to the UK market. This marks the debut ready-to-drink offering from their premium spirits company, arriving some three decades after their iconic song “Gin & Juice” became a cultural phenomenon on Snoop’s breakout album “Doggystyle” in 1993.
Named after their Grammy-nominated track, the product features four “all-natural” flavors: Citrus, Melon, Passionfruit, and Apricot. Citrus is described as a blend with citrus notes balanced by rose and other botanicals, Melon offers a smooth melon taste with citrus and hibiscus undertones, Apricot is mellow with a subtle honey finish and aromatic bergamot, and Passionfruit is tropical with refreshing pineapple accents. Each Gin & Juice variant is naturally low in sugar and calories, containing only 2 grams of sugar and 95kcal per 250ml can. They are crafted with real fruit juice, have a 5.9% alcohol by volume (ABV), and are subtly carbonated, with no artificial colors or flavors.
The product’s packaging, designed by renowned artist and industrial designer Ini Archibong, reflects the hip-hop legends’ iconic West Coast lifestyle. Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop will be available at nearly 1000 UK independent retailers by the end of the month, as well as at on-premise locations, summer music festivals across the region, and online through bydreandsnoop.com and Amazon.
The brand plans to unveil more offerings in the future under the leadership of Patrick Halbert, Andrew Gill, and Rocco Milano, who previously founded On The Rocks Cocktails. Investors in the spirits company include not only Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg but also Jimmy Iovine, Main Street Advisors, Marc Rowan, and Tom Werner.
Dr. Dre expressed enthusiasm about the project, stating, “Together, we always try to create magic, we’re having fun being creative, and everything about this product is really us.” Snoop Dogg added, “Look where we’re at in our careers. Look at our age and look at what we’ve done, and we still love each other, so why not do something together?”
